Students Will Excel In School

STAAR Test

 

 

 

 

Can you believe that the STAAR test testing has arrived? Here are some ideas to help your child be prepared for the STAAR testing and we’d like to share the ideas with you.

 

  • Breakfast First

Your body needs fuel to have energy throughout the day. Be sure to start your day by eating a well-balanced breakfast.

  • Eat fruit as a snack

Apples, oranges, and bananas are great snacks and easy to pack. Rich in nutrients and vitamins, fruits are some of the best foods for your brain.

  • Drink plenty of water

Water quickly increases oxygen to the brain, and quenches the cells more than other beverages.

  • Eat balanced meals

Consume healthy carbohydrates which are found in whole grains, fruits, and veggies. These foods produce a longer energy supply. Don’t forget to eat breakfast!

  • Get 8 hours of sleep

A good night’s rest is important and plays an important role in how your child performs during testing. It is generally best to get 8 hours of sleep.

Parents, please do not make appointments for your child on testing days. Do not make plans to eat lunch with your child.  Students will be eating lunch with their teachers.


 

 

 

 

 

Puede usted creer que la prueba STAAR ha llegado? Aca tenemos algunas ideas para ayudar a su hijo(a) a que se preparen para la prueba STAAR y nos gustaria compartirlas con ustedes.

 

  • Primero, el desayuno

Su cuerpo necesita combustible para tener energia todo el dia. Aseguerese de empezar su dia con un desayuno bien balanceado.

  • Coma frutas como merienda

Las manzanas, las naranjas y los platanos son bocadillos saludables y faciles de llevar rico en nutrientes y vitaminas. Las frutas son algunas de los mejores alimentos para el cerebro.

  • Beba mucha agua

El agua aumenta rapidamente el oxigeno para El cerebro, y aplaca las celulas mas que otras bebidas..

  • Coma comidas balanceadas

Consuma carbohidratos saludables que se encuentran en los granos enteros, frutas y verduras. Estos alimentos producen energia

mas por mas tiempo. No se olvide de comer el desayuno!

  • Obtenga 8 horas de descanso

Dormir bien es importante y juega un papel importante en la forma en que su hijo realiza la prueba. Por lo general, la mejor manera es obtener 8 horas de sueno.

Estimados Padres, por favor no hagan citas para su hijo en las fechas de examenes. Por favor no hagan planes de comer durante el almuerzo con su hijo. Ellos almorzaran con sus maestros.
